Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) is a condition that has become
widespread in the U.S. The causes of chronic fatigue syndrome are not well understood.
Some experts believe it is associated with Epstien-Barr virus (EBV) based on the fact that
many people with chronic fatigue syndrome have a high level of EBV antibodies in their
blood. Intestinal parasites are also common with people who have chronic fatigue syndrome.
CFS can reoccur at any time, especially after illness or stress.
